I carefully source beautifully crafted vintage and retro pieces and transform them using vibrant paint colours and hand drawn illustrative motifs.
I have long had a passion for vintage furniture and one of my favourite past times growing up in Devon was to visit our local recycling centre. A sprawling shop had been created and everything and anything was on sale, from tired looking vintage furniture and crockery to battered bikes and foot spas! I fell in love with a vintage barbers chair and was hooked on the thrill of the search from then on.
I have an Illustration background and so it didn't take long for my two passions to come together and I began painting the furniture that I found with bright pops of colour and then adding illustrative designs on top to finish.
As time has gone on I have found anything I can get my hands on to illustrate onto from gazelles to wooden bowls and memory boxes.
I have introduced new lines more recently to include jewellery and candlesticks.
I love what I do and seeing the transformation of an old dusty unloved piece of furniture into a colourful well loved useful piece of furniture in someones home makes me so happy.
